JTC has awarded the industrial site at 1 Kallang Way to CL Savour Property Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of CapitaLand Development, at a tender price of $368,901,225. The site was launched for tender on 25 June 2024 and closed on 1 October 2024, attracting four bids.

This is the first Industrial Government Land Sales (IGLS) site to incorporate adaptive reuse, where an existing terrace factory will be retained and repurposed for continued industrial use. Located within a designated food zone, the site has been strategically master planned to support the sustainable rejuvenation of the area.

Gourmet XChange will bring together food manufacturing spaces with retail and F&B uses, creating a more vibrant industrial environment while offering new amenities to the surrounding community and residents.

Ms Tang Hsiao Ling, Director of the Urban Planning & Architecture Division at JTC, said:
